on entering the Year of the Water Rabbit 2023
As the sounds of steady raindrops reverberate on the kitchen skylight, the succession of moments proceeds to the arbitrary demarcation that separates 2022 from 2023…drop, splatter, drop, patter pitter, splat…another solar year commences with hopes, wishes, trepidations.
We need patience and forgiveness to soften conflicts sparked by moral degeneracy in our neighborhoods, states, nation, and global community.
Let us take refuge in our fundamental goodness and kindness without end.
Let foolishness- greed, hatred and stupidity- self-destruct. Poof!
Life and death are but dreams.
We are here to heal the wounded and clean up the mess.
